This Nantucket Style basket has a flat back and hangs by a wooden handle. The finished design measures approximately 16"H x 13" W.
This compact design was created using grasses and other greens that will remind you of a Cape marsh. Little hints of blue astilbe and tiny white flowers are the perfect accompaniment to this collection of local shells.
Local Cape Cod Bay Scallop shells have been used as well as deep Blue Mussel shells. Two flat white grooved shells create a focal point and highlight the tiny white blooms.
This basket may be used indoors or outdoors. If used outdoors the basket will eventually weather to gray.
